| Bob Mayfield (born 1956) serves as the
Sunday School and Adult Discipleship Specialist for the Baptist General
Convention of Oklahoma. Bob began with the Oklahoma Convention in September
of 2005. |

| Prior to coming to the convention, Bob
served as the Church Ministries Facilitator for the Arizona Southern Baptist
Convention. Previously, he has served as the Minister of Education at First
Baptist Church in Chandler, Arizona, Minister of Education at Indiana
Avenue Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas and as a youth minister at churches
in Houston and Waxahachie. |

| Mayfield has been in a number of different
situations throughout his ministry. Bob grew up in First Baptist Church of
Lubbock, Texas, which at that time was the one of the largest churches in
the nation. Bob has served in county seat churches, churches in metropolitan
areas, mega-churches, small churches, churches in growth mode and churches
in maintenance mode. He is currently a member of North Pointe Baptist Church
in Edmond, Oklahoma. |

| During his tenure at Indiana Avenue Baptist
Church in Lubbock, the church was recognized by the state convention as the
fastest growing Southern Baptist church in the state for four consecutive
years. During this time span, the church grew by about 1,000 members
annually and 60-70 new Bible study units per year. Indiana Avenue was
recognized as the 28th
fastest growing church in the nation two years in a row (1992 and 1993) by a
research project done by Southwest Baptist College in Missouri. |

| As a youth minister, Bob developed his own
youth camps and regularly had attendance from his own church of over 100 at
his youth camps and Disciple Now weekends. |

| Mayfield's ministry with the Baptist General
Convention of Oklahoma involves training and consultations in the areas of Bible study,
discipleship, prayer, evangelism, and church growth. He travels extensively
across the state and nation as a trainer and a church consultant. He is a
member of BACE (Baptist Association of Christian Education) and the National
Sunday School Director's Fellowship. |

| Bob is currently studying for the Doctor of
Education Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in
Louisville, Kentucky. His ministry project is
developing a leadership growth
plan for adult Bible study leaders in the state of Oklahoma. |
